The center was opened by the Municipality of Lesichovo as a state delegated activity. The management of the service has been assigned to Fund IGA since January 2019. It employs a team of specialists – manager, social workers, babysitters.
Family-type accommodation center (FTАC) is a social service of residential type, which provides a living environment for the full growth and development of children deprived of parental care, for whom at the time of accommodation are exhausted opportunities to return to the biological family, accommodation in relatives or foster family.
FTAC has a modern and comfortable material base, close to the family environment.
Aims
The aim of the Family-type Accommodation Center is to provide a family-like environment in which children receive the individualized care and support they need for personal maturation and the development of skills for independent living. The organization of everyday life and the services in it are aimed at creating conditions and attitudes of children for equal participation in the life of the local community.
Access to services
Those wishing to use services in the FTAC are directed by the Child Protection Department with an Order, an Action Plan and an Evaluation Report. The FTAC prepares a Needs Assessment and a Care Plan for each placed child.
The provision of services in the FTAC is carried out after receiving an Order from the CPD. The order is issued only for one user. It lists the services to which the user is referred, according to the information provided by the provider of the Social Assistance Directorate.
All users of social services in FTAC fill in a Declaration of Consent for the provision of personal data and sign a Care Plan. All children and families receive, in a way accessible to them, information about the services provided by the provider, the experience of the provider and the qualification of the staff, the terms and conditions for using social services in the FTAC and the procedure for filing complaints.
