Meetings with the teams under project “RESTART – a new strategic vision of IGA”

Interviuta (1)The planned structured meetings with IGA’s teams were held during the past month. Their goal was to discuss the successes achieved, to make proposals for change and development, to share about the difficulties and challenges. The meetings focused on dialogue and frank sharing of opinions of IGA’s employees. Participants were given the opportunity to offer ideas for the future of the organization.

In addition to the teams, similar meetings were held with IGA’s partners, clients and other stakeholders. The purpose of these interviews was to get an idea of the current external image of the organization – how it is perceived by those with whom IGA interacts, as well as the prospects of these partnerships.

The results of all meetings will be summarized and analyzed. They will add new aspects to IGA’s White Paper project.

The meetings, structured interviews and conversations contributed to achieving the main goal of the project: agreement on the direction in which to develop the organization in the long run.

The project “RESTART – a new strategic vision of IGA” is implemented with the financial support of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism.

The restart of IGA began with a study

IGAAt the end of last year, within the project “RESTART – a new strategic vision of IGA” were conducted a series of interviews with representatives of external parties – clients, NGO partners, central and local government, health and educational institutions, supporters, media. Given the epidemiological situation, the team replaced the structured meetings with a questionnaire to be completed and sent online. 33 online questionnaires and 4 telephone interviews were conducted and summarized.

The aim of the interviews was to create a space to discuss the successes achieved, the contribution to change and development, difficulties and challenges.

The received information is very interesting and indicative of the external image of the organization – how it is perceived in the public space, what are the strengths and successes, what to change in a positive direction and more.

As a next step in the implementation of the project, an analysis of the training needs and increasing the competence of IGA’s teams will be conducted. It will supplement the summaries and recommendations for the development of the organization. Based on the analysis, an approach for addressing the identified deficits and needs for capacity building will be developed, and will be included as a separate section in IGA’s White Paper.
